Jean: It was supposed to be. You ordered crispy bacon.
Lionel: You sure?
Jean: I heard you.
Lionel: It was that waitress; she confused me. Asked for fried eggs and she suggested about fifty different ways of frying them. Same with the bacon. As for ordering toast - well, forget it if you're in a hurry. Took her half an hour to tell me how many sorts of toast I could have.
Jean: [chuckles] You like Los Angeles, then.
Lionel: If we eat downstairs this evening, we should go down about five o'clock; it'll take two hours to order.
