Adam West: They wanted to shoot the beginning of the movie. I had to get on my horse and ride across the plain, in the canyons, and ride toward a cave. I rode closer to the cave in the distance and suddenly this huge crowd of bats came flying out of the cave, all over the sky, darkening, passing me and I thought, What in the hell? It occurred to me maybe that was a little taste of what was to come.
