The Back Country Quote
Hagen Keller: You know, it's hard to believe. I'm gonna make more money in one year, than my old man did slaving away at that mill in ten.
Martin McGlagen: I guess he'd be pretty proud of you huh?
Hagen Keller: No he wouldn't. [lights up his cigarette and takes a puff]
Hagen Keller: He never stole a dime in his life. You know, he actually believed that trash about an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Well I never knew a man who worked harder. And what did he have to show for it? A mountain of debt and an early grave? Well, he couldn't even afford a proper burial. [takes another puff]
Hagen Keller: So much for an honest day's pay. No, he wouldn't be proud of me, but I think now, he'd understand why.
