Radio operator: This is VK 1-1-2-3. I'm calling Dr. Johnson. This is VK 1-1-2-3. I'm calling Dr. Johnson. Over. [noises come out of the receiver. Then Dr. Johnson answers]
Dr. Victor Johnson, the flying doctor: This is Dr. Johnson. Go ahead. I'm listening.
Radio operator: There's a sick man at Mount Robe. Are you busy?
Dr. Victor Johnson, the flying doctor: No, I'm not. But there's a bad storm in that area. It's dangerous to fly there now.
Radio operator: I know, doctor, but the man is very sick.
Dr. Victor Johnson, the flying doctor: OK. Call him and tell him I'm coming.
Radio operator: Right. 4-3-7, this is 1-1-2-3. This is 1-1-2-3. Over.
Sick man at Mountain Robe: [faintly] This is... 4... 3... 7.
Radio operator: I'm sending a flying doctor to you. He's leaving now.
Debby Sela: [whispering] Flying doctor? [Gabby shushes her]
Debby Sela: What's a flying doctor? [Dr. Johnson is flying to Mount Robe, but a storm blocks his route]
Dr. Victor Johnson, the flying doctor: VK 1-1-2-3. VK 1-1-2-3. This is Dr. Johnson. The weather isn't very good. It's starting to rain.
Radio operator: Are you having troubles?
Dr. Victor Johnson, the flying doctor: Yes. The wind is blowing very hard.
Radio operator: Where are you now?
Dr. Victor Johnson, the flying doctor: I'm flying over Cockburn. Mount Robe is... ten minutes away.
Radio operator: 4-3-7, this is 1-1-2-3. This is 1-1-2-3. Do you hear me? [only static noise is heard in response]
Radio operator: 4-3-7, do you hear me? [still no response]
